The Secret Society for Non Singers is getting a revamp, but never fear I won’t leave you hanging!
The very first thing you’ll want to learn to start to improve your singing voice is BREATHING.
I know you already know how to breathe champ, but breathing for singing is a totally different ball game.
While we breathe into the chest day to day, we don’t want to do this when we sing. It feels tight, we feel tension in our throat and our voice comes out thin and pushed.
Check out the video below to get used to breathing lower, letting the belly expand on the inhale and release back to normal on the exhale.
Trust me, this is the first piece of the puzzle you’ll want to practice - it makes a HUGE difference to your sound!
If you’re excited to learn more about how you should use the breath once you’ve inhaled to get more clarity, more stability and more power, I’ve got just the workshop for you!
85 minutes of free training all about a concept we call “breath support” - the key factor in making your voice sounding full and avoiding that pushed, tight feeling in your throat.
